I was not into the idea of digital photography at all until I saw the images on Flickr. I am now seriously considering investing in a digital camera so I can post pictures and share them with family and friends. My brother-in-law has a digital camera and I plan to ask him to show me how it works so I can take some pictures next time I'm in Sacramento and post them on Flickr. This is a big leap for me---as I will also need to buy a home computer of my own as well! I have been putting that off since I use a computer so much at work. The first time I went through the steps I thought it didn't work so I did it again. I posted my first comments on the 2nd blog so it was the one I decided to use. I'd like to learn how to delete the first one...

I also registered my blog (the second one) with the Virtual Services Team. I guess this means I have successfuly completed the first 4 items on the list of 23.

Exercise 2: 7.5 Habits of Life Long Learning

The habit I find the easiest is #2--accepting responsibility for my own learning. I have always participated fully in any class or workshop I have attended. I read extensively and believe you learn something every time you read.

The habit that I find the most difficult is accepting problems as challenges. There are times when I feel that one more problem will cause me to scream...or start beating my head against a wall. However, here at SJPL you do need to take change in stride so hopefully I can overcome this.

This is my first post ever on a blog--my own or anyone elses.
